Gemnori: Diamond Painting · iOS / Android
Draft updated: 18 October 2026
Gemnori is in development. This pre-release document describes the planned service, not an announcement that these features are already available. We will review it against the released app before launch.
Getting started
Choose a gallery pattern or make a pattern from a photo. The planned launch collection has 6 categories with 15 works each, for 90 works. The app is still in development; this page describes the intended controls and policies.
Zoom, move and paint
In photo cropping, pinch with two fingers to zoom and drag with one finger to move the photo inside the fixed square. In painting, tap a matching number to place a gem, pinch to zoom, and drag with one finger to move when zoomed in. Moving or pinching must not accidentally place gems.
Ads and the ad-free pass
Each new photo pattern, including the first, can be made free after an optional rewarded ad. A gallery pattern needs one ad on its first unlock, not every time you open it. Existing work can be resumed without an ad. If conversion fails after a reward, the saved generation credit is kept for retry.
The lifetime ad-free pass has a confirmed Korean price of KRW 3,900; the store displays the actual local price. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Restore with the same store/account. Switching between iPhone and Android requires a new pass purchase, even when work is restored through Google Drive.
Before reinstalling or changing phones
Local progress can be lost when the app is removed. Connect a supported backup, tap Back up now and confirm the last successful backup time before switching. On the new device restore that backup. Uploads can be delayed by network, storage limits or OS scheduling, and changes not uploaded cannot be guaranteed to return.
For iPhone–Android transfer, use Google Drive with the same Google account. iCloud alone is not an Android transfer path. Work, progress and genuine rewarded unlocks can move; a store pass cannot. Do not overwrite an existing backup with a new empty device before checking for restore.
Save and share your work
Save to Photos or the gallery keeps a PNG on the device and does not require a payment, an ad or R2 upload. If permission is denied, check the app's system settings. A saved image is separate from the editable work and progress backup.
Choose an app in the system share sheet to share a local image. Optional link sharing requires upload consent, expires 7 days after upload and starts automatic deletion. The app will explain when a missing or expired image needs another upload. Recipient copies do not disappear with the link.
Offline use and problems
Previously saved work and image export are designed to work offline. A new rewarded unlock, purchase/restore, cloud backup or link upload needs a network connection. If an ad or upload fails, keep your work and try again later; do not uninstall as a troubleshooting step before confirming a successful backup.
